Summer travel season is here. We wanted to inform you about an additional benefit you have that you might not be aware of. Anyone covered by the City sponsored life insurance program underwritten by Unimerica is also eligible for Travel Assistance Services.
I am attaching a brochure and card that you can cut out and take with you while traveling. This information is also available on our Pension & Benefits web page on the City of Waterbury web site.
Travel Assistance Services: Provides medical and transportation assistance in a travel emergency for employees who are traveling away from home or office.
Services are provided by OnCall International.
- Professional call center, accessible 24/7, from anywhere in the world
- Coordinates medical assistance, emergency transportation and other travel assistance
- Covers up to 90 days on any one trip
- Includes any trip 100+ miles from home or office
