    Shakesperience educates and inspires students, families, and theater professionals through the arts in order to explore social constructs and foster mutual respect for all people. Shakesperience creates innovative, interactive, thought-provoking live theatre programs rooted in classical literature by focusing on the dynamic relationship between the artist and the audience.
 
     The Palace Theater's vision is to stimulate a cultural and economic renaissance in the region through the celebration of arts, education and community. Our mission is to build a strong sense of community and an appreciation for the arts by operating, maintaining and sustaining the Palace Theater as a financially viable not-for-profit performing arts center that provides positive artistic, cultural, educational, social and financial impact to the Greater Waterbury area.
   
    The mission of Seven Angels Theatre is to support professional regional theatre on a continuing basis in the Waterbury, Connecticut region; to produce and present quality theatre of fine established plays, musicals, and children's theatre; to encourage and produce new works; to emphasize priorities of excellence, quality, integrity, and accessibility to the entire community; to provide the means to foster appreciation, participation, and education in theatre arts, and to promote and foster the performing arts.
   
    Timexpo® The Timex Group Museum invites you to take a series of fascinating journeys through time. Trace the history of our company from the 1850s to the very latest in today's technology. And that's not all. A Time Tunnel leads you to an exhibit based on the work of Thor Heyerdahl, looking at possible contacts between ancient civilizations.      The Waterbury Symphony Orchestra performs in two venues throughout each season. The Classical Masterworks Series is performed at the Fine Arts Center at Naugatuck Valley Community College, and the Symphonic Pops Series is performed at the Palace Theater in Downtown Waterbury.
   
    The Mattatuck Museum Arts & History Center provides our community with professional scholarship, preservation, and historical programming about our heritage, stimulates the interest in the fine and decorative arts of Connecticut by showcasing their highest quality and expression, and encourages an appreciation of the humanities and the fine arts through its collections, exhibits and programs.
   
The Arts & Culture Collaborative was created to strengthen and support the arts in the Waterbury region as a central component of furthering economic and cultural development and to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
   
    Main Street Waterbury is a grassroots, downtown management and revitalization program in the context of historic preservation. Through improving the physical appearance of downtown Waterbury, promoting its architectural and cultural assets, organizing volunteer initiatives, sponsoring events, and fostering public/private partnerships, Main Street Waterbury hopes to economically rejuvenate Waterbury’s downtown district without sacrificing its character or heritage.
