Bulk Pick Up
City residents are allowed two free bulk waste dumps at the Mark Lane Transfer Facility. No household garbage (municipal solid waste) is allowed. For more information regarding the Mark Lane Transfer Facility, please click here.
The Refuse Department also conducts special pick-ups for bulk items. An appointment must be made before you place items at the curb and there is a five item limit. To schedule a special pick-up, please contact the Refuse Department at 203-574-6857. The hours of operation are 5 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Friday.
